Dr. Einar Laukli is a graduate of the Norwegian Institute of Technology. Dr. Laukli holds a M.Sc. in Acoustics and a PhD in Auditory Electrophysiology. From1986, he held the position of Professor in Audiology at theUniversity of Tromsø, and he is working as an Audiology Physicist in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, University Hospital. Dr. Laukli is a Professor in the ENTDepartment, Institute of Clinical Medicine at the University of Tromsø. Dr. Laukli is a member of several major societies relevant to his field of interest, including President of the Nordic Audiological Society, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Audiology, and theconvenor of two international standardization committees, ISO/WG1 'Threshold of hearing' and IEC/WG1'Audiometric equipment'. He is also a member of Collegium ORLAS.
